On 15 September 2022, as part of the Interdisciplinary Congress of the Patient Safety Forum (https://bezpieczny-pacjent2022.pl/23550.1.2022.krakow), workshops on patient safety under the conditions of an infectious isolator of the biological safety level BSL-3 were held. During the workshop, a mobile infectious isolator was tested, the possibilities of isolating and quarantining a highly infectious patient were tested, and procedures for admitting a highly infectious patient were simulated. At the end of the workshop, the isolator was adapted for intensive care, evaluating the treatment options in the isolator for severely ill patients. The workshops allowed us to gain invaluable experience in the field of safe patient management under conditions of complete biological isolation.
