The 3rd Conference of the National Emergency Medical Monitoring Center took place on November 27–28, 2025, and focused on key issues related to ensuring the continuity of rescue operations in crisis situations. The event brought together representatives of key institutions responsible for national security, including emergency services, the military, the police, public administration, and academia. Discussions and presentations focused on the challenges of modern rescue, system integration, and innovative solutions in the area of health and life protection.
The conference was held under the honorary patronage of the Rector of the Jagiellonian University Medical College, underscoring its importance and significance for the development of science and practice in the field of disaster medicine.
The Department of Disaster Medicine at the Jagiellonian University Medical College was honored to actively participate in this prestigious event. Representatives of the Department delivered two lectures:

Moreover, Dr. Barbara Seweryn served as the event’s moderator, ensuring its professional conduct and substantive coherence.
The conference program included topics related to battlefield medicine, adapting medical infrastructure in emergency situations, civil-military cooperation, and preventing terrorist threats. During panel sessions and debates, experts emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and the continuous improvement of procedures in the face of dynamically evolving threats.
This unique meeting provided a platform for the exchange of experiences and knowledge, which will translate into improved safety and effectiveness of rescue operations in Poland.
