On November 14-15, 2022, an international conference was held entitled Disaster and Military Medicine (DiMiMed 2022). The conference was attended by specialists in disaster medicine, emergency medicine, and military medicine from around the world. Dr. Arkadiusz Trzos and Dr. Karol Yuski took part in the conference of the Department of Disaster and Emergency Medicine of the Jagiellonian University Medical College. The trip was financed by the project entitled Strengthening security in the field of CBRNE – Coordination and standardization in the field of CBRNE (Strengthening CBRNE safety and security – Coordination and Standardization) financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism. During the conference, several topics related to providing medical assistance to victims of armed conflicts and disasters were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the topic of CBRNE and battlefield injuries. It was an interesting experience and a chance to learn about modern methods of saving the health and life of victims and medical equipment.
