On January 9, 2024, the head of the Department of Disaster Medicine and Emergency Aid at the Jagiellonian University Medical College, Dr. Arkadiusz Trzos and Dr. Karol Łyziński visited the North West Ambulance Service HART Base in Manchester (England). The visit took place as part of the Project Strengthening security in the field of CBRNE – coordination and standardization, financed from Norwegian funds.
During the visit, the organizational structure, scope and response capabilities of HART teams (Hazardous Area Response Teams) in Great Britain were learned. The meeting allowed us to obtain information necessary to implement the CBRNE Project.
