Military Institute of Aviation Medicine in Warsaw

On 20.11.2024, the Zero-G Medical Team from the Department of Disaster Medicine and Emergency Care at the Jagiellonian University Medical College, led by Dr. Arkadiusz Trzos, conducted further tests at the Military Institute of Aviation Medicine in Warsaw. This time, the activity of selected muscle groups was assessed during the simulation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in microgravity. The study used the Atmed Restraint System (ARS), a system for stabilizing rescuers near the patient, which is part of the MMM Mobile Medical Module. The tests were the next stage of research on the new CMRS model intended for use during future space missions to the Moon and Mars.
