On 25-26 November 2022, the first interdisciplinary specialist workshops were held on the treatment of radiation-contaminated and irradiated patients. The workshops were attended by professionals dealing professionally with the issues of radiation and nuclear threats. Among the invited guests were representatives of the Polish Atomic Energy Agency, the Internal Security Agency, the army, police, and health care. Thanks to the support of Raytech and DHP Safety, we were able to use the most modern systems for detecting and identifying radiation sources and conducting radiation decontamination. During the workshop, we simulated medical activities at the prehospital, decontamination, and CBRNE isolator stages. During the workshop, medical procedures previously developed and prepared at Jagiellonian University Medical College were tested. More radiation workshops in perspective.
