On May 27-28, 2023, another CBRN training was held for medical staff from the Pomeranian Voivodeship, for firefighters of the State Fire Service and other services. The training covered the management of a patient contaminated with the CBRNE factor with particular exposure to the radiation and nuclear factor and was held as part of the project “Strengthening CBRNE safety and security – Coordination and Standardization” financed by Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021. Among others, the following procedures were practiced: developing the logistics of picking up the patient, securing him at the scene and transferring him to the decontamination line; helping a rescuer overloaded with work in a protective suit, withdrawing a contaminated rescuer from operation by tearing the suit, admitting the patient to a medical point and qualifying for specialist treatment.
