On January 23-25, 2024, the CBRNEmedycyna team from the Department of Disaster Medicine and Emergency Relief UJCM had the opportunity to participate in the CBRNE Convergence Asia 2024 scientific conference organized at the National Defense Academy in Singapore. 🇸🇬 The team’s trip took place as part of the project “Strengthening CBRNE safety and security – Coordination and Standardization”, financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
During the visit, the method of response of Asian and American services to CBRNE threats was learned, including the organization of the rescue system, rescue procedures, provision of specialized equipment and the medical staff training system.
It was an extremely valuable experience allowing for establishing new contacts and exchanging experiences.
