September 15-17, 2022 Congress of the Polish Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy – Interdisciplinary Patient Safety Forum

On 15-17 September 2022, the Congress of the Polish Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy – Interdisciplinary Patient Safety Forum was held in Krakow. We remind you that 17 September 2022 was World Patient Safety Day of the WHO.

As part of the event, on 16 September 2022, a special session was held under the patronage of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy of Jagiellonian University, Collegium Medium, devoted to the issue of patient care in conditions of CBRNE risk. During the session, the Internal Security Agency presented contemporary CBRNE threats to Poland, and the Ministry of Health presented the level of preparation of the health care system for CBRNE threats. The Department of Disaster Medicine and Emergency Aid presented the results of the work carried out so far under the Project…. and the scope of tasks for the coming years. The concept of RTF-CBRNEmed emergency medical teams was discussed in detail during the presentation. and hospital specialist medical teams CBRNEmedicine. A model of undergraduate and postgraduate medical training was presented in the management of patients at risk of CBRNE as a response to contemporary threats.
