First aid

This course is dedicated to students of pharmacy, analytics and dietetics. We teach how to help a patient in a life threatening situation in the first minutes after an accident or sudden illness in the workplace (pharmacy, laboratory) or at home. We teach first aid to adults and children. We base on the program BLS-AED and our experience.

Emergency care

Emergency Care is an advanced program dedicated to the future medical staff – paramedics, nurses, and obstetricians. We teach how to help a patient in a life threatening situation in the first minutes after an accident or sudden illness in workplace (hospital, EMS). We teach the principles of cooperation with emergency doctors and  other specialists.

Emergency medicine

During this course we teach students to treat patients in life-threatening condition. We use the teaching method of simulation. We teach students to work in the Emergency Department (triage room, trauma room, intensive care unit). We present the role of emergency and disaster management, triage, model “trauma team”, point of care ultrasonography, ICT  and telemedicine support. 

Disaster medicine

The purpose of this course is to prepare future doctors  to help the victims of disasters.  Students learn the principles of operational planning, disaster management, organization of rescue action, triage, treatment at the scene of disaster, transport victims to hospitals.  We teach behavior during terrorist attack and CBRNiE incidents.
