On May 22-23, 2023, we conducted specialist training for the Provincial Ambulance Station in Przemyśl SPOZ. The training was attended by paramedics from Medical Rescue Teams in Przemyśl and in the Jarosław district. The participants of the trainings were also Ukrainian doctors working in WSPR Przemyśl, doctors of the Emergency Medical Service in Lviv, policemen – medics from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Lviv and soldiers of the 5th Podhale Rifle Battalion in Przemyśl.
The subject of the training included the management of a patient contaminated with the CBRNE agent with particular exposure to the radiation and nuclear agent. The trainings were held as part of the project “Strengthening CBRNE safety and security – Coordination and Standardization” funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
